The Gay Men’s Chorus of Honolulu presents:
Honolulu’s most eagerly awaited summer tradition will once again come alive on stage as the chorus sings and performs at the Hawaii Theatre on Sunday, June 19, 2016 at 5:30 PM. The Gay Men’s Chorus of Honolulu is Hawaii’s first and only openly gay musical performance organization that promises a memorable and enjoyable evening for performing arts patrons suitable for the entire family. Their diverse audience experiences entertainment in the unique style for which the chorus is known: heartfelt performances, quality voices, masterful arrangements, creative choral-ography, touching moments, joyful laughter, local flavor and camp!
Join the Gay Men’s Chorus of Honolulu as they travel through time with music from the big band era to the upbeat music from TV shows such as “The Golden Girls” and then blast forward to today’s mega hits from Beyoncé to Katy Perry. The musical journey will also include Hawaiian music, both classic and new, featuring “Over the Rainbow” by Braddah IZ. Concert goers will be treated to popular songs that have been enjoyed throughout the years. The vast array of “Music from Then & Now” will arouse the audience to finger snapping, toe tapping, and dancing in the seats.
